My Story
My name is Daniel Levenson, and I am the founder of Transition Element Ltd. From an early age, I have been driven by a passion for building, inventing, and understanding how things work. That curiosity has led me to continually take on hands-on projects, develop new skills, and pursue practical solutions to complex problems.
My professional foundation in chemistry was established through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree (2016) and a Master’s degree (2019) in Chemistry. During this period, I was awarded the Student Union’s Teaching Excellence Award in recognition of my ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex scientific concepts. My academic research focused on catalytic design during my undergraduate studies and on materials for hydrogen fuel cells at the graduate level. This work resulted in two peer-reviewed publications: one addressing the optimization of hydrogen fuel cell materials, and a second examining the relationship between particle size and the resulting conductive properties of these materials.
I began my professional career in 2020 at NOVA Chemicals as a Research Technologist, where I conducted research on polymer processing aids within the plastic additives group. Concurrently, I developed Open Titration, a personal passion open-source project that provides an automated workflow for extracting key analytical insights from titration data. In 2021, I transitioned to Fusion Technologies Inc. as Head of Research and Development, leading efforts to design and implement innovative oilfield chemical formulations and methodologies. In 2025, I joined Arkon Solutions Corporation as a Research Chemist before founding Transition Elements Ltd.
At the core of my work is a desire to help individuals and businesses - particularly those without in-house scientific or chemical expertise turn ideas into practical, effective solutions.
I look forward to helping you transform your ideas into a reality.
